In The World Question Center van Edge beantwoorden tientallen schrijvers, denkers en wetenschappers de vraag ‘How is the Internet changing the way you think?’. Smullen geblazen! Van Brian Eno’s The authentic has replaced the reproducible tot Howard Rheingold’s Attention is the fundamental literacy: je steekt van ieder antwoord wel iets op. De antwoorden zijn net zo divers als het gezelschap zelf.
Van deze site krijg ik meteen de neiging om te gaan strooien met nog meer citaten. Ik heb nu eenmaal een zwak voor mensen die het mooier, korter en duidelijker kunnen zeggen dan ik zelf. Op de schouders van reuzen, weet je wel? Ik zal me inhouden. Ik beperk me tot een fragment van Rheingold:
