Wij mieren. Wij dieren. Wat ik momenteel ook lees, hoor of kijk: het is onverdraagzaamheid en haat dat de klok slaat. Maar hoewel het me nog steeds raakt, zoals het ook collega Stephen raakt, of zoals het twintig jaar terug de macho’s van Carnivore raakte, sluit ik mezelf toch vooral af voor de post-feiten maatschappij. Alle profeten kronkelen en bekonkelen. “Er is geen spoor van een begin en geen zicht op een einde.”

Prima begin van een zatermiddag. Me dunkt.
Ik begrijp nog steeds niet dat je die nieuwe platen van BR niet checkt. Minstens zo goed, zo niet beter. En ja, – dat is tegen jouw zere punkrock been.
En ze hebben gelijk.

Sorry .. mijn computer treuzelde dus ik bleef gemakshalve oneindig op reactie plaatsen drukken. Ik denk dat we blij kunnen zijn dat het er maar 3 zijn geworden.

@Len: New maps of hell ga ik zo even luisteren. Dissent of man komt over twee weken uit, zag ik net. Aan die punkrockslag, vooruit maar!

..ben het helemaal met Len eens, het duurt misschien iets langer voordat je ze van voor tot achter kan meeblèren, maar elk nieuw album van BR is zekers de moeite waard!
Die new maps klinkt inderdaad prima. Ook aardige ingetogen versies van oude nummers. Kom ik toch nog aan mijn trekken, met mijn conservatieve instelling 🙂
